Interior and space
The WRX has 12 cubic feet of boot space, which is roomy enough to hold a pair of golf bags or a couple of carry-on suitcases. The rear seats can be folded 60/40 so that skis and other long items can be stowed away.
The Subaru WRX is a four-door sedan with five seats. The front seats are comfortable and provide excellent hip support while driving. There is ample head and leg room for taller front passengers, and the WRX’s large windows provide excellent visibility to the front, sides and rear. The rear seat is spacious enough for two adults to travel comfortably.
Manually adjustable front seats are standard. The offered Subaru has leather upholstery, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats and reinforced front Recaro sports seats.
The interior of the WRX is solid and durable.
The WRX is equipped with the Starlink Subaru infotainment system. The touchscreen has a simple menu and is complemented by buttons and knobs for sound and climate controls, making it easy to adjust these settings on the go. The system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing users to integrate a smartphone interface with a touchscreen.
WRX engine
The Subaru WRX is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbo four-cylinder boxer engine that produces 268 horsepower and 258 lb. of torque. All-wheel drive is standard. Our Subaru is equipped with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
As RPM increases and boost pressure increases, the WRX rushes forward like a rocket. Reaching 100km / h takes less than six seconds.
Ride
The Subaru WRX is a true four-season sports sedan. Its steering works great and the suspension makes the WRX stable in turns. When it is snowing or the road turns to gravel, the all-wheel drive system is able to find traction and send power to any of the wheels for maximum traction. Brakes also provide high stopping power.
WRX security
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Subaru WRX an overall safety rating of five out of five stars, with five stars in the frontal, side impact and rollover tests.
The Road Safety Insurance Institute named the WRX Top Safety Pick, giving it the highest rating of “Good” in all six crash tests.
